We thoroughly enjoying working on art throughout our homeschool day.  We were ecstatic when we were able to review the Beyond the Stick Figure Complete Drawing Course PLUS 3 Bonus Courses from Beyond the Stick Figure Art School.  This comprehensive drawing course is perfect for your whole family as an art curriculum.

Online Homeschool Art Curriculum

Beyond the Stick Figure Complete Drawing Course PLUS 3 Bonus Courses is an online art curriculum for all ages.  The course includes a drawing course plus three bonus courses.  One bonus is a pen & ink techniques course and full watercolour course. The second is an introduction to acrylic course and the third is an introduction to 3D design course.

This program is designed to be used as a daily program for one year. You can also make it fit your schedule however you would. We worked through the lessons approximately 3 days per week, with the odd break when we were busy on the ranch.

Sally Stansfield does an incredible job at teaching you how to take stick figure drawing to masterpieces through a series of step by step video lessons. Within 60 lessons in the drawing course, anyone from the age of 5-95 can learn to draw together as a family. Each video is around 2-10 minutes long and they contain many helpful tips and easy-to-understand instructions.  Sally also provides a workbook that you can download to help supplement the lessons.

The drawing course is divided into three parts. In Part 1, Sally first walks you through the materials that you will require. Next, we were taught how to see like an artist by doing a shape scavenger hunt. We had a lot of fun trying numerous drawings with circles, dots, curved lines and straight lines in Part 1.

It was very neat to see how much my 7 year old was progressing as he practised the lessons.  Being in video format, we were easily able to watch the lesson and pause and start it whenever we wanted to.

We are currently working through Part 2 of the drawing program.  It is a little more advanced for my son and he is really enjoying the challenge and the repetition in the art work that we are creating.

Our Recommendation

We highly recommend Beyond the Stick Figure Complete Drawing Course PLUS 3 Bonus Courses from Beyond the Stick Figure Art School for your whole family.  It has been such a great addition to our homeschool.  We are all noticing an improvement in our drawing and how we look at art work.  The short lessons make it very easy to fit into your day,  along with minimum prep required.  It worked very well for my son by learning in small chunks of time. I also really liked how the lessons started at the basics as it helped to give my son a good foundation when starting the course.

Our Future Plans

We are very excited to start working through the three bonus courses as soon as we finish the drawing course.  We are going to be able to learn how to use acrylic paint to create paintings and then we will learn about modelling with clay, which we haven’t done before.   Furthermore, since we have a lifetime access with this online art curriculum, I will definitely use Beyond the Stick Figure Complete Drawing Course PLUS 3 Bonus Courses from Beyond the Stick Figure Art School again with my younger sons.

There are lots of cattle operations producing cattle and beef for customers to choose from. You need to develop a relationship and a niche for your own brand/operation. Building this will then form relationships with customers that trust you, know what to expect from you and in turn want to support you.
