How We Used Page a Day Math
My 7 year old is working the Subtraction Starter Kit and the Addition Starter Kit. These books are for ages 5-7 and there are 10 books in the Addition Starter Kit and 13 in the Subtraction Starter Kit. My son is quite confident in his addition and subtraction, but these short lessons really helped him to master the skills when we worked on them approximately 3 times per week. We decided to start at Book 6 for both kits and we have now just started working on the Multiplication Starter Kit Book 1. There are 12 books in this kit and it is for ages 6-8.
My 4 year old is working on the PreK Math Starter Kit. This kit is for ages 3-5 and it includes 10 books plus the bonus books. This has been a great resource for him starting out. We are also working through the I Can Write My Name bonus book. It has lots of fun print handwriting activities for him to work on.
What We Loved
My 7 year old son loved that he could easily determine how many questions he had to do each day and that the lessons were short. It helped him to focus and attention
I really liked have the printing boxes for my 4 year old son to practise writing the answers. It helped him with forming his numbers correctly.
Having the starter kits in digital format has been very beneficial as I can now use them with multiple children in our home and we can also redo some lessons in the future if I find that my sons needs extra work on certain areas. We plan to continue to use these kits to help master math skills in our homeschool.
