How do you choose to purchase a certain brand of p How do you choose to purchase a certain brand of product or a bull from a specific ranch? We all make choices every day based on our opinions, interests, and based on what we have seen, heard and experienced. We must remember that when marketing our own farm products. There are lots of cattle operations producing cattle and beef for customers to choose from. You need to develop a relationship and a niche for your own brand/operation. Building this will then form relationships with customers that trust you, know what to expect from you and in turn want to support you.
I’m not the only one who has a notepad full of i I’m not the only one who has a notepad full of ideas, dreams, and plans… right? I don’t go anywhere without it, because at any given moment, I might think of a new blog post, and I have to write it down immediately! That’s just the life of a rancher who uses social media as a business tool, I guess! Are you: A. An old-fashioned pen+paper dreamer; or B. A digital dreamer?

If I feeling stressed, you will find me outside working our show cattle with the boys. There is no where I would rather be than outside on the ranch with my family.  Over the past numbers of years, I learned the ins and outs of marketing farm products and are passionate about helping you find success with your farm marketing.

Those seeds need nurturing, care, and time to grow before they turn into the plant they’re intended to be, just as your farm or ranch! You know the saying, “a picture speaks a thousan You know the saying, “a picture speaks a thousand words”?  Good quality photos of your cattle or farm product is key when marketing. A customer can be wowed by your cattle quickly with a photo and they can also be turned away quickly. We all look for something different in our cattle, so have a good quality photos can leave a large impact on your potential customers. Has your opinions ever been swayed based on a photograph of a potential herd sire or of a ranch management practise?
